 What are chakras

     Chakras are the concentrated energy of the body. Chakra is a Sanskrit term and it means “wheel” or “disk” and is derived from the root word “chakra”.We have more than the Seven Chakra and some minor chakra in our energic body system. We will discuss mainly 7(seven) chakra and their color. In the human body, it really comes down to a set of seven primary chakras that align with the spinal cord and stretch from the bottom of the spine to the top of the head.

     Seven Chakras 

        1.Root chakra /Basic Chakra/ Muladhara Chakra(Color Red)

     The root chakra, or Muladhara, is located at the base of your spine. Your root chakra is responsible for your sense of security and stability. When the root chakra is disturbed, we feel dis-confident in our ability to withstand challenges and stand to feel threatened on our own two feet.                                            more reading

The sacral chakra, or Svadhisthana, is located just below your belly button. This chakra is responsible for your sexual and creative energy.         3.Solar plexus chakra( Color Yellow)

The solar plexus chakra, or Manipura, is located in your stomach area.         4.Heart chakra (Color Green)

The heart chakra, or Anahata, is located near your heart, in the center of your chest. It comes as no surprise that the heart chakra is all about our ability to love and show compassion. Someone with a blocked heart chakra will have difficulty fully opening up to the people in their life.       6.Third eye chakra (color )

The third eye chakra, or Ajna, is located between your eyes. You can thank this chakra for a strong gut instinct. That’s because the third eye is responsible for intuition. It’s also linked to imagination.  It is held to be the center of intuition, vision, prophecy, imagination, inner knowing, and self-assurance.
